I'm thinking that an LP is really the only thing worth doing with my GLX, I hope they set them up soon, but to be honest, I think the very basis of this gameplay is week, too big a disconnect between football and this game

Yes, if not, the only thing to do is sell the token! I think you are right, they missed the ball with regards to the gameplay, it seems a similar copy of Splinterlands gameplay, instead of being football based. A real shame.
I sold half when I unstaked at the end of the airdrop, I was intending to buy them back when they fell further, but now that they are actually cheaper, I don't want to buy them back.
This game had beautiful clean tokenomics ( apart for THAT incident), but alas the game is not much of a game imo
