We are now fully in the heart of college bowl season. The little games with many schools you have probably never heard of before are now over and all that is left are the FBS games. These are more of the upper tier games that we have become familiar with over the last couple of decades.
Louisville won the Boca Raton Bowl 27 to 22 over Toledo. In the New Orleans Bowl, Western Kentucky took down Southern Mississippi 27 to 16. The Frisco Bowl had Ohio beating UNLV 17 to 10, and the Hawaii Bowl allowed Hawai'i to beat California 35 to 31.
The day after Christmas we have three bowls taking place.
Things kick off at 1PM with the Game Above Sports Bowl seeing Central Michigan University take on The Northwestern Wildcats. Fire up Chips! I've gotta cheer for CMU as they are just down the road from where I live.
After that we have the Rate Bowl seeing New Mexico take on Minnesota, and then tonight is the First Responder Bowl with Florida International facing UTSA. There are also a mess of bowl games through the rest of the weekend.
In fact, eight of them take place tomorrow. There should be no shortage of college football for ou to watch if you are hoping to get a few last fixes before the end of the season.
I'll likely be focused on the Pin Stripe Bowl and the Pop Tarts Bowl. Penn State faces Clemson in the former with Georgia Tech taking on BYU in the later. I'm sure I will be using mutiview on YouTube TV to catch some of the other games as well.
It will just depend on how busy I am and what kind of mood I am in.
I am still recovering from a pretty nasty sickness I had over the Christmas holiday, so rest will be the most important thing for me this weekend.
