Welcome to the first round of our Weekly Spotlight, where we shine a big, bright light on the funniest submissions from the community!

This spotlight is our way of celebrating those comedy gems that made us snort, giggle, choke on our coffee, or literally LOL in public (yes, we’ve all been there). Like I said, the spotlight is to showcase the most funny post for the week, it might come from our weekly prompt, or random post in the community, so come make the most funny posts you can.

Some weeks, we might only have one spotlight post. Other weeks, we might have ten! It all depends on how funny the submissions are, not kinda funny or I smiled internally funny, but bust-a-gut, tears-down-your-face funny, Yes that kind of funny gets the spotlight.

So, if your post didn’t make it this week, don’t sweat it. Come back stronger, funnier, and even more ridiculous next time. The spotlight isn’t for everyone, it’s earned, not given. 😎

With my cup full of swiming tealeaves, I asked grandma, “Grandma, aren’t they going to give us a sieve?”
Grandma looked at my cup of tea, and asked, “Tabby, what have you done?”
“I have put the tea leaves in the white tea”, I answered excitedly feeling like a champion.
“No, no, you just had to dip the tea bag and the tea would soak it in,” Grandma answered.
