My Hive Goals (Week 19, 2025)

This is a short sum-up table with the state of my goals in easier TLDR form. The table has only a general overview, with details expanded in the post.

HBD in Savings at the Bull Market End Goal: 5,000 HBD

This is a goal inherited from last year, but mostly intended for this year.

So... risk-on assets have been in the spotlight again for the last couple of days, fueled at first by the announced negotiations and now by the results of the 90-day lowered tariffs and other retaliatory measures between the US and China, and maybe to a lesser degree, by the renewed prospects of a peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine, with Putin and Zelenski apparently agreeing to meet face-to-face in Turkey on Thursday (unless either side backs off). I have my doubts on the success of the latter talks, but hopefully I'm wrong.

I have again purchased HIVE with almost all my HBD from author rewards, to take advantage of the current trend.

Social Goals

Here are my social goals in 2025:

• posting: at least 350 posts (max 1 per day) in 2025
• commenting: an average of 81.25 comments per week (11.6 per day); this is at the beginning of the year, the average needed will change throughout the year;
• publishing Week through Adrian's Lenses every week of 2025 (hopefully, maybe I can have 1 exception, under special circumstances)

Here's the current situation:

I missed 3 days in a row of posting last week on purpose, for the first time this year (have been on a short break and decided not to post, even though I probably could have). Currently at 37.61% with 36.54% needed to be in the green.

I also started the week with 22,880 comments made. Ended the week with 22927 which means I made 47 comments last week, which is much lower than the average needed, but that's due to taking a break for about half a week. I currently need an average of 80 comments weekly to reach my target by the year end.

I published "Week through Adrian's Lenses" news roundup every week this year, including last week, an early one. Now at the 122nd edition.

Golem Overlord - Prestige 30

Started with prestige 20 (and XP 10,544) in week 2.

Half-a-week of not being able to play GO affected my results this week. If you want to know why, you can read my post from yesterday. Overall, I don't think this goal is in jeopardy, even though I had my doubts when I set it at the beginning of the year that it would be possible to achieve it this year.

Here's the current situation:

Current Prestige level: 24

Needed XP to level up to Prestige 25: 57,217

Remaining XP to Prestige 25: 31,284

Days to Prestige 25: ~26

When upgrading to next prestige level, 75% of my XP will be cut, and I'll start over the climb from there.

Started the week 16,334 XP, ended it with 25,933 XP. That's 9,599 XP gained last week (very well, considering I wasn't able to play for half a week - I was cautious enough to add extra points to reputation, but still my conversion rate dropped well below max for a good while). I still need 31,284 XP to level up to Prestige 25. That's almost 26 days, if nothing changes in my pace of converting reputation to XP.

From week 8 I began tracking my Faith level, since starting from 600+ level, it gives a bonus to maximum rep conversion (0.5% per level).

Last week's Faith level: 417.

Current Faith level: 421.

To have have Faith at level 600 at the beginning of Q4 (13 weeks before the year end), I need an average of 8.95 Faith level upgrades per week. This week I leveled up Faith by only 4, which was way below average (that happened to some degree because I wasn't claiming anything for 3+ days, and to another degree because I pushed extra PARTs to reputation, above max).

ZING Accumulation Target: 200k

For anyone who doesn't know, ZING is the token of the Holozing game (currently, it has no publicly released gameplay).

Slow and steady. Everything fine for now.

Here's the current situation:

Started the week with 124,919 ZING and finished it with 131,140. Made 6,221 ZING this week, and I need an average of 2,087 ZING weekly to achieve this goal. I'll very likely reach 200k sooner than the end of the year. I'll think of a higher/different target then, related to Holozing.
