Fixing of WoodenDoor Frames at Our Site

(edited)

This morning the upholstery man brought the wooden door frames we requested to our site, so since we are not yet ready to do the plastering work of the house due to fund issue, we decided to fix the door frames at each door according to their various sizes.

The sizes of the door frames varies, for the bedroom and kitchen frames it is 3ft for breadth and 7ft for height, while the door frames of the four toilets and kitchen store is 2.6ft for breadth and 7ft for height.

We started off by knocking nails isto the edges of the frames, this is to make it fixated well into place and not be shaky, then we start placing and fixing each door frames to their rightful place, some frames wouldn't fit the door it was meant for, so we had to break off some of the blocks around the door to make room for the frames to fit in, while some frames were way too small for the places it is meant for, so we had to use bricks to cover the gaps/vacuums available.

We make use of the following tools
Shovel
Hammar
Chisel
Measuring Tape
Nails (4-inches nails)
Hand-trowel
Shocking-Wood

We brought along two bags of Cement to the site, one of my sibling went off to mix it with shocking sand outside the building, while another went to get water at a nearby well.
We were served the cement mixture which we filled into the frame edges to make sure it fits well into the walls, atimes supporting it with pieces of bricks where the need call for it.

After rounding up with fixing the door frames, we did some light weeding around our site, that was how our weekend went. How did you spend your weekend too. Mind sharing with me in the comment section.
Do have a funfilled weekend, love you.
