Agricultural engineering has made the production of food faster with an increase in production as well.
Normally our planted cassava takes 2-3 years before maturity but we now have this specie that can grow to maturity with a year and half.

Precisely in the month of May I have shown us how we have propagated this cassava here.
With every new farming season, we move to cut the stem from old plant and install them in the ground again after cultivating a new field.

Planting of the stems is usually done after consecutive rainfalls and the stems can survive in the ground.

Next you will have new leaves growing out in less than two weeks.

This growth stages continues until you have cassava grow and spread out like this

This significant growth is noticed any time from the 3rd Month of propagation.

Engineered cassava can grow as fall as 6feet from the ground.
The tubers begin to form when the Cassava is a year old and others can start from within 9months after propagation.
This continues until we have mature tubers over a year later.

Cassava has multi functions for both consumption and commercial purpose and since they are not difficult to maintain, we have them included in our farming.
