Hello everyone,
I hope you're doing well today. Just a little reminder that no matter where you are or what you're going through, you're doing your best — and that’s more than enough. Wishing you a beautiful and peaceful day ahead, filled with small joys and calm moments.
A few days ago, I bought LunocityX as my first kart. It's beautifully designed and comes with impressive stats .
Here are Lunocity X stats :
Speed: 113.3
Handling: 51.8
Acceleration: 51.8
Health: 45.5
But then I was tempted by Quasar Sport — an Epic rarity kart, one level above LunocityX.
Here are its stats:
Speed: 114.1
Handling: 60
Acceleration: 60
Health: 60
If you notice, there’s a number “9” on the bottom left of the card. I believe the seller may have merged 9 cards to upgrade it — though I’m not entirely sure.
Here's a comparison table between LunocityX and Quasar Sport:
Stat | LunocityX | Quasar Sport | Difference |
---|---|---|---|
Rarity | Rare | Epic | Quasar Sport is one tier higher |
Speed | 113.3 | 114.1 | Quasar Sport is slightly faster (+0.8) |
Handling | 51.8 | 60 | Quasar Sport has better handling (+8.2) |
Acceleration | 51.8 | 60 | Quasar Sport accelerates faster (+8.2) |
Health | 45.5 | 60 | Quasar Sport is more durable (+14.5) |
Quasar Sport clearly outperforms LunocityX in all categories, especially in handling, acceleration, and health. It also has a slight edge in speed. If you're looking for better overall performance and don’t mind the higher rarity (and likely higher cost), Quasar Sport is a strong upgrade from LunocityX.
But here comes the downside of Quasar Sport — fuel consumption.
While LunocityX only uses 3 fuel per race, Quasar Sport consumes a whopping 126 fuel, which is a major drawback. Fuel isn’t easy to produce in the game, so managing resources becomes a real challenge when using higher-tier karts like Quasar Sport.
Feature | LunocityX | Quasar Sport |
---|---|---|
Fuel Consumption | 3 | 126 |
So, while Quasar Sport wins in performance, LunocityX is far more fuel-efficient, making it a more sustainable option for longer gameplay unless you’re ready to invest heavily in fuel production or purchases.
Also, please note — it’s not just the kart that consumes fuel. Other NFT cards, such as drivers and all upgrades (like tech cards), also use fuel when equipped in the game.
This means that while a powerful kart like Quasar Sport might give you an edge on the track, its high fuel cost combined with other equipped items can quickly add up, making it harder to maintain unless you have a solid fuel supply strategy.
First, you need to stake your NFT cards inside the vault.
This means you can still use the cards in-game while they’re being staked. In return, your staked cards will start generating fuel over time.
The amount of fuel generated depends on how many cards you stake and, most importantly, their rarity — the higher the rarity, the more fuel you’ll produce.
So, if you want to maintain a strong setup without constantly running out of fuel, strategic staking is essential.
For examples ;
If im stacking LunocityX card with rare rarity it only generate 3 fuel .
While Quasar Sport can generate 126 fuel for period of time .
To claim the fuel generated by your staked NFT cards, you also need to stake SCRIPT tokens.
If I’m not mistaken, it’s 2 SCRIPT for each NFT card.
Here's a simple example:
Let’s say you have 2 NFT cards generating fuel, and together they can produce 100 fuel.
To claim the full 100 fuel, you’ll need to stake 4 SCRIPT (2 SCRIPT per card).
But if you only stake 2 SCRIPT, you’ll only receive 50% of the generated fuel, which is 50 fuel in this case.
Funny story — the first time I tried to claim fuel, I got nothing because I hadn’t staked any SCRIPT yet! Lesson learned the hard way.
Right now, I need to stake 6 SCRIPT tokens to claim 100% of my generated fuel.
Since I’m still new and don’t have any COLONY tokens to burn for SCRIPT, my only option is to buy SCRIPT from Hive-Engine.
Currently, the cost is around 13.1999 HIVE for 6 SCRIPT, which is roughly $3.21 USD.
I guess there’s still a lot for me to learn in MoonKarts, but honestly, the journey of discovering new things is what makes it all so rewarding.
That’s all from me for today
Thanks for reading, and see you in the next adventure!

Quasar Sport do not generate 126 FUEL nor do it consume 126 FUEL per race , unless it much above Level 1 . At Level 1 it is around 18 only.
May be it was at higher level .
