ATM Machine Digital Lock Repair and Experience.

Last Thursday, while doing servicing work, I encountered a very complex problem with an ATM machine. Suddenly, the machine's digital lock broke. The problem was quite strange, because the lock was not locking in the right place at all and was opening automatically again and again. The functioning of the digital lock is very important for the security of a banking machine, so there was no chance of taking the matter lightly.

To understand the depth of the problem, I opened the entire lock set and started examining it with my hands. After removing the cover and carefully observing the internal circuit board and drive motor, I realized that the problem was mainly caused by the small motor and the connected circuit inside it. The lock mechanism was not receiving commands properly, due to which the lock was not engaging properly.

I tried to eliminate the error with great patience in various ways for about an hour. Starting from checking the circuit connections to normalizing the mechanical parts of the motor. But despite all my efforts, the lock could not be reactivated. The device was completely damaged both mechanically and electronically.

Since the lock could not be repaired, I have sent a requisition to the store for a new digital lock set to ensure security. As soon as I receive the new lock, I will properly install it in the ATM machine and make the device fully operational. Every day is a new experience in technical work, and this complex work has enriched my experience a little more. I hope you enjoyed today's experience.
