Lost in the World of Dolls: A Kaleidoscope of Colors and Childhood Joy

Buying a gift for my little daughter is always a special experience; I would do anything just to see the smile on her face. Last week, I visited a toy shop to buy her a doll. Stepping inside felt like a journey back to my own childhood. The entire shop was adorned with colorful toys—dolls, cars, balls, and so much more, scattered all around.

I was captivated by a massive display cabinet filled with dolls in one corner of the shop. There was a wide variety—small and large, expensive ones and traditional local dolls. Each one was beautiful and charming. I felt like buying every single one of them for my daughter, but purchasing so many at once wasn't feasible. So, I began looking at them one by one.

First, I spotted a doll with golden hair wearing a lovely frock; she looked just like a fairy. Since my daughter loves stories about princesses, I decided to buy that one. Next, I picked out a small teddy bear. It would be a constant companion for her and provide comfort while she slept.

Finally, I bought a traditional local doll—one made of clay and beautifully hand-painted. It would serve to introduce her to Bengali culture.

I returned home with the three dolls. My daughter was overjoyed to see them and spent the entire day playing with them. Seeing her smile washed away all my fatigue.

Dolls are more than just toys; they stimulate a child's imagination. Talking to dolls and caring for them aids in a child's mental development. Dolls become friends to children; playing with them ensures that children never feel lonely.
