A delightful afternoon spent cooking favorite dishes for the family.

I truly love to cook. There is a unique joy I find in preparing dishes that my family members love, with my own hands, and serving them. As a mother, being able to lovingly prepare meals for my children brings me immense happiness. These small gestures aimed at bringing smiles to the faces of my loved ones often become the most beautiful moments in life.

This afternoon, I prepared several delicious dishes for my family. My children’s absolute favorite is chicken roast, while my husband’s favorite is a stir-fried vegetable dish. Keeping both of their preferences in mind, I planned today’s menu.

I began by taking the chicken out of the refrigerator and cleaning it thoroughly. I then marinated the pieces with the necessary spices and set them aside for a while. Afterward, I took my time to carefully cook the chicken roast. As I was cooking, I couldn't help but imagine how happy my children would be when they saw their favorite dish.

Next, I prepared the vegetables for my husband chopping a variety of them and washing them well. I sautéed them with just the right amount of spices to create a delicious stir-fried vegetable dish. Once everything was cooked, both the chicken roast and the vegetable stir-fry looked wonderful.

Finally, we all sat down to have lunch together. The joy on my children’s faces when they saw the chicken roast was truly remarkable. Meanwhile, my husband was delighted with the vegetable stir-fry; he actually prefers eating his meal with the vegetable dish rather than the chicken roast.

Honestly, even though everyone in the family has different tastes, I truly enjoy the effort of trying to make them happy. This simple lunch today created a joyful moment for our family. To me, there is nothing more valuable than the happiness and love within a family, and the joy of sharing a meal together.
