After waking up in the morning, the question arises in every person's mind as to what to eat for breakfast today. In our Bengali culture, the breakfast table is filled with hot paratha and delicious dal bhaji. Be it a holiday or a busy work day, this traditional morning meal is enough to make you feel good. The sight of hot, soft parathas placed on an old wooden table and a bowl of golden dal bhaji next to it will make anyone's stomach rumble.

When these handmade round parathas are taken out of the pan, the lightly burnt marks on them are great to see. The crunchiness hidden in the folds of the paratha and the soft texture inside double the taste of the food. The yellow dal bhaji that can be made with chickpeas or moong dal goes well with it. The small pieces of potato and the mixture of various spices in the dal go well with the paratha. When the dal is picked up with a spoon and served with hot paratha, a heavenly feeling is created.

In the busy life of the city, the real taste and satisfaction of our traditional local foods is different from the fast food or expensive restaurant food. The experience of eating such a breakfast sitting in a small local hotel on the side of the road or in a homely environment is really great. Pure water in a small glass glass and the food arranged in front creates a rural atmosphere. Even in the midst of busyness, such a delicious and nutritious breakfast energizes the body and mind for the whole day. This tradition of paratha dal has been ruling the Bengali dining table for ages and its popularity will remain unbroken in the future.
