THE POWER OF KINDNESS __PROMPT EDITION 2

(edited)

People often think kindness has to be something big. We imagine donating huge amounts of money or doing something extraordinary. But I don't think that's true anymore.

As a university student, I've experienced moments when the smallest act of kindness completely changed my day.

I remember one afternoon after lectures when I was exhausted. I had been moving from one class to another, and my phone battery had died. I needed to call my dad to send money for manual, but I didn't know anyone around me well enough to ask.

After standing there for a few minutes, I finally approached another student and explained my situation. Without hesitation, she handed me her phone and simply said, "Go ahead."

She didn't know my name.

She didn't know what I wanted to use the phone for.

She just trusted me.

The call lasted less than a minute, but I walked away thinking about how easily she could have ignored me.

That experience reminded me that kindness isn't always about solving someone's biggest problem. Sometimes it's just about making their day a little easier.

The world today can feel so busy that many people don't even notice what others are going through. We walk past people carrying burdens we know nothing about. A smile, a kind word, holding a door open, or helping someone with directions may seem small to us, but it could mean everything to the person receiving it.

I've also learned that kindness has a way of spreading. When someone shows me kindness, I naturally feel like doing the same for someone else. It's almost like a chain reaction.

We may not remember every lecture we attended or every assignment we submitted, but we often remember how people made us feel.

That is why I believe kindness is powerful.

It doesn't require wealth.

It doesn't require status.

It only requires a willing heart.

Maybe the world wouldn't feel so heavy if more of us chose kindness, even in the smallest ways.

Sometimes, the simplest act can leave the biggest impact.

  1. your post wasn't banned the curator of the community identified possible AI usage so he decided to remove the rewards.
  2. 1 post a day is the healthier, but it is possible to write one more ... it is better to write something that is good quality and have more chances to get better curation
