Money and happiness are two different things entirely. Money is an object or a thing that we humans treat as a legal tender used in exchange for goods and services, while happiness, on the other hand, is a feeling or a state of mind we find ourselves in due to one happening or another. Now the question many people often ask is, can money actually buy happiness since it seems as though many chase it in their bid to make their lives better? Below I'll state my take on the subject matter and why I had that opinion, so without further ado, let's get to it.

To start with, can money buy happiness? To be honest, in my opinion, I think the response to this is both a yes and a no, and I'd state why my response is split into two concerning this subject matter. Firstly, when I said 'yes, money can buy happiness', it's because when we talk about humanity, we as humans often have our happiness tied to different things; some people's happiness is tied to their possessions or what they own, others' is tied to their achievements, while for some, it's initiated by random breathtaking moments that stir up their emotions. To others it's just the appreciation of being alive and healthy.

Now someone whose happiness is tied to material possessions like cars or houses or achievements like graduation from schools and the like would agree that in truth money can buy happiness. And that's because if they don't have money, they won't have been able to get all those things that bring about the happiness they derive from those things. That's why I said money can indeed buy happiness.

But then on the other hand, money might not be able to buy happiness in situations where an individual's happiness is tied to being in good health and the like. In such situations, even though money can help such individuals get good health care and the best of treatment, we must understand that those good treats they get don't mean they'll be in good health or that'll bring about happiness, and that's why I said in some cases money can't buy happiness.

Overall, I think our definition of happiness is what would determine how we see life and decide if money can buy it for us or not. What is your own take on this subject matter?
