A Strange Inheritance: The Painting with Voices

In the event that my family and I inherited a painting that turns out to emit mysterious voices at night, would I want to investigate the secret behind those voices, or would I run away from anything that has to do with making contact with such paintings again? To critically examine this situation, we must understand that a painting is supposed to be a still image on a canvas, and it's not expected to move, let alone talk. So in the event that we begin to hear voices from paintings like that, it won't be strange to see people run away or not want to have anything to do with such things again. But then what would I do if I found myself in such situations?

Personally, even though I'm a lover of exploration and learning and seeing new things, in fact, I like the idea of visiting new places and understanding mysteries, but then this particular situation seems to be out of the ordinary; it's not something that can be understood with normal human understanding or comprehension, and so for that reason, I'd most likely and definitely not want to go near such paintings again. I mean, how can I stay around a painting that talks at night, knowing fully well that it'll bring about scary feelings, given the darkness of the night that surrounds me at that point?

I'll most likely leave the painting out or throw it away so I can be as far from it as possible. The reason behind my actions is so I can enjoy my sleep and not have to live and sleep in fear at every given sound I hear at night. And I don't want to visit more strange places all on my own bid to understand the mystery behind what the people in the painting are trying to protect, so that's about how I'd react and what I'd do after seeing and hearing voices from a painting.

Talking about the kind of secret the people in such paintings might be protecting, it could be the location where treasures are kept or buried; it could be the history of some set of people or the human race; it could even be related to mystery, reality, alien race discovery or anything. But regardless of what the secret is, I am not interested in knowing or finding out about it. So that's about it on my take on what I'd do if I inherited a painting that could talk and also held mystery.
