A Home Above the Clouds: Dream or Danger?

Owning a house is what almost everyone desires, and having such on an island is going to be amazing, given the beauty and view that such would hold. As we all know, a house on an island would mostly likely have an ocean view, trees, and some level of exclusiveness and privacy. Personally, I always dream about owning a house of my own, so having to fulfill that by building or owning a property on an island would be amazing. But then what if the island is in the sky? Would I be comfortable staying there, or would I rather not purchase such properties?

To be honest, owning a house built on a mansion sounds astonishing and a breath to behold, knowing fully well that I'll be graced with the beauty of nature in another dimension. Not only will I be able to behold the stars and moon at a closer proximity, but also I can even gaze at the earth from up there where my mansion sits in the sky. It's a thought that got me dreaming, but would I be wanting to stay in such a place, even though there's easy access to and from earth and my house that's located in the sky?

To be honest, even though the sky island house sounds too good and desirable, I'd still say I won't be wanting to own it or stay in such a place; I might be willing to visit such a place if it's a tourist destination, but to stay there is a no-no for me, and my reason isn't far-fetched. First is the fact that I'd be exposed to a higher radiation of the sun, since I'm closer to it staying up there. Second are the other dangers I'm exposed to, such as asteroids that usually fly around space; I, my house, or family might fall victim to getting hit by one, but on earth it's very unlikely because they tend to become little particles before they get to our atmosphere or how gravity tends to reduce their pace before they touch down.

That's to not even talk about the fear of falling from such a height if I stay on an island in the sky and mistakenly fall off the edge of the island while trying to gaze at earth from there. All of these reasons are why I'm not thrilled about staying there. Though I might be obliged to visit it as a tourist destination.
