One thing I’ve realized in this life is that time truly waits for no one. You can wake up in the morning thinking you have the whole day, and before you know it, the day is gone. Here in Nigeria, the weather even confuses you,it’s hot in the morning, then cool breeze in the afternoon, and by evening, it feels like the day just flew by
Am I a Procrastinator? Sometimes, Yes
To be honest, I struggle with procrastination sometimes. I may say, “I’ll do it later,” and next thing I’m on my phone watching reels or scrolling through social media for hours. Then I’ll ask myself, “What did I even gain from all that?” It’s funny but also painful because I know I could have used that time better.
Trying My Best to Use Time Wel
Lately, I’ve been trying to improve. I started making daily to-do lists in the morning. Even if I only tick off three things out of five, I feel proud that I at least did something. Before, I used to sleep late, wake up tired, and feel like I did nothing for the whole day. But now, I’m becoming more intentional with how I spend my time.
Is 24 Hours Really Enough?
Sometimes I feel like 24 hours is not enough. Between NEPA taking light, unexpected visitors, traffic noise, or even my own tiredness, the day can just slip away. There are days I plan to do five things and only end up doing two because something came up.
But I’ve also noticed that on days I plan better and avoid distractions, 24 hours is actually enough to do what I need to do.
How I Spend My Free Time
When I finish my tasks for the day, I like to relax by watching movies or reading stories especially sci-fi or fantasy ones. It helps me imagine new worlds and cool my mind. Sometimes I wish I could control time like a character in a movie, just to pause everything and catch up. But of course, life doesn’t work that way. 😂
What I Now Consider a Waste of Time
1.There are a few things I now see as time-wasting:
2.Scrolling endlessly on social media
3.Thinking too much without actually doing anything
4.Trying to please everybody or worrying about what people will say
5.These things used to eat my time before, but now I try to avoid them as much as I can.
Final Thoughts
So, am I a procrastinator? Sometimes yes. But I’m working on it. I now understand that time is one of the most valuable things we have, and once it’s gone, we can never get it back.

Trust me sometimes we all give into procrastination whether intentionally or unintentionally, we cannot do away with it completely but regulating how much we engage in it is how we win.
Uhmm that's true.....thanks for stopping by
