Despite all the ups and downs we face in life, life is still such a beautiful journey. We live, we learn, we explore, and we are always up to something; it's either we are chasing after our dreams, trying to achieve our goals, or trying to figure out what truly matters to us.

Yet, amidst all this, we often feel a void inside of us, like something is missing. What is so funny is that this emptiness can linger for long and doesn't seem to go away despite how successful or busy we may seem to be. It's more like we are searching for something more, something that can fill the inner gaps. This makes us wonder what truly is the essence of life and and is everything we do and go through really worth it.

To understand what the essence of life is, we must first discover our purpose and live our life fulfilling it. The true essence of life varies for different people. Your purpose is the reason God created and deployed you to earth, the assignment you came to accomplish, and the very objective that defines your being.

Discovering your purpose early would help you start out accomplishing it in good time. You would not be a victim of "wasted years" or expend scarce resources on the wrong agenda. When you discover your purpose, your life is defined, your path is earmarked for you, and your living is meaningful. And this is not to say that you won't face challenges in life; it's just that your life has a direction. Your eyes are set on a goal, even when it seems like the economy and forces of life are against you.

True essence in life is finding out that purpose and investing the rest of your life living it.
