The Mystery Behind Our Dreams.

Good day, people of Hive! Welcome to my blog. Today’s topic is from Scifimultiverse, which says: Why We Saw Dreams. So, let’s dive in.

Honestly, I don’t think there’s any human being that doesn’t dream. Every one of us dreams, even though we might not always remember them when we wake up — which always happens to me. There are times I’ll dream and can’t remember it, no matter how hard I try. Some people dream funny dreams, others dream scary ones, and sometimes, we dream things that feel so real that when we wake up, we keep thinking about them the whole day.

But have we ever asked ourselves, why do we dream? What is the purpose of dreams? What is the meaning of dreams? And do dreams really mean something? Because there are people who say dreams are foolish and don’t mean anything.

Let me start with this. The reason why we dream is that what we think about or put in our minds before going to sleep is what we end up dreaming about. For example, maybe before sleeping we watch a horror or scary movie at night, and while lying down we keep thinking about it, there’s a big possibility that we’ll dream about that same movie. It can even feel so real, like we’re part of it.

I once dreamt that I was driving a car, and the way I drove it was like an expert. When I woke up, I realized it was just a dream, but it felt so real that I started wondering if I’d be able to drive a car the same way in real life. That’s why I prefer watching horror or scary movies in the morning or afternoon, because if I watch them at night, I’ll definitely dream about them, and in the dream, it’s always scarier than the movie itself.

Sometimes, dreams come because of what we’re going through. When we’re worried or thinking too much about something, it can show up in our dreams. There are times before sleeping, we think about someone we haven’t seen for months or even years because we miss them. Then we end up dreaming about that person, and when we wake up, we keep smiling because it felt so real, as if we actually saw them in real life.

And do we know that dreams are one of the ways God speaks to us? That’s why some people or pastors say God speaks to them through dreams. Sometimes, we may not even think of anything before sleeping and still find ourselves dreaming.

There are dreams that have meaning. And yes, I believe in dreams that come true. Do you believe that if God wants to rescue us from danger, He can show us through a dream before it happens in real life? Sometimes, we think it’s just an ordinary dream, not knowing that God is warning us about something. Then when that thing finally happens, we remember that we already saw it in then dream, that’s when we realize that God had already shown us, but we didn’t pay attention.

In conclusion, we all dream, and I believe every dream we have has a meaning. Sometimes, we might see ourselves walking in the sky or flying, I believe even those types of dreams have their own meanings. I don’t believe there’s such a thing as a ā€œfoolish dream,ā€ like some people say. I believe all dreams mean something; it just depends on how we understand and handle them.

When we’re worried or thinking too much about something, it can show up in our dreams.

I agree with you on this. When someone is anxious and worried about a certain thing, he or she is very likely to have a dream in regards to it cause dreams always presents an opportunity for one's subconscious mind to lay out different thoughts, feelings and emotions.

Every dream definitely has a meaning no matter how ridiculous or strange it might seem or sound. It's all about our perspectives.

Yes, I do believe that dreams are avenues through which God communicates with us. It can be in the form of a warning, advice, or a sign. Depending on our level of communication with God and the openness of our minds. Dreams can also happen in our state of worry or hopelessness, or even when we are burdened. So our brain continues in the activity because we are not yet settled in our minds. But after the dream, we may get some insights into the challenge. What we make out of our dreams is strictly our responsibility.

You're right. Dream is inevitable and God communicates with us through dream.
