The heart is normally the size of a fist and is placed on the left chest. It is intertwined with four major vessels in the blood stream-arteries and veins. It also possesses valves that assist the flow of the blood towards the right direction. Heart disease is an ordinary but harmful medical issue of our days. Heart disease is a collective term that describes the disturbance done to the normal activities of the heart. These are blockage of artery in the heart, heart attack, abnormal heart beating etc. The most common causes are smoking, high blood pressure, uncontrolled dietary habits, stress and unregulated lifestyle.

There are some easy-to-remember rules which should be adhered to keep the heart healthy. Such as
exercising of light daily sport like walking or biking, eating healthy and low-fat food, drinking plenty of water, not smoking, not going to have alcohol.

On my personal level, I believe that cutting the heart off is taking care of our life in itself. This little stuff that we do daily, such as walking upstairs, using less fried food, or even meditating a few minutes contribute to our heart in a very beneficial way.
