One of my fears when I'm about to leave a place I'm familiar with to a place I've never been to, is whether I'll have a good network experience there because most of what I do now to make money and go about my daily activities, I need a good network. I don't remember how it got to this point but I know that, I can't do without good network.
After steady electricity, my next search to live in a place is good network. Since I can't control how a network works in an area, I came up with a backup plan that have been working best for me. It's still funny to me when I see someone having all the main four network providers in my country, MTN, Glo, Airtel and 9mobile all as their backups.
For someone who travels and have to live sometime in different places at different times, having more than one network provider have been the best hack to avoid being cut out from the online world. Among the four main providers, I have no much experience with 9mobile as I didn't get to use it long enough but my sister did.
With MTN, I'll say it has been the best experience for me so far and it's the oldest network provider I've used until today. I remember having a particular MTN card for over six years before I had to change it for a new one and I've been using it for over another six years now, almost no time have I regret using it because of it's benefits.
MTN providers have indeed made a name for themselves that is still quite assuring until now, "Everywhere you go" is their motto and I must say as a traveller, they are everywhere I've been to but their strength in those places varies which is expected and I've found ways to cope with it. MTN had good data options until recent changes.
With GLO, as I've heard, it's a network provider by my own country, the experience have been quite bittersweet. Some days, I'd be so grateful I have it as a backup and some times, I'll regret I have only it as a backup until I had more options as backup. I'm not the kind to connect wifi with just anyone so I make sure to always have backups.
The Glo network is my favourite for good data option, especially night plans. Although now, I utilize my nights for good rest, Glo was my best bet when I was always awake at night. I don't know about others but no matter how bad Glo network gets for me in some places, it's usable at nights so that's how I found cheaper night plans.
Recently, I've been patronizing AIRTEL although, I don't have their card, I use my mum's own and turn on wifi to use the data I subscribed in it. This is because I found out about their unlimited data offer for router users every month and I thought I should try using their network where I am to see how fast it works if I'll go for the unlimited option.
Over all, the network Providers I have used all have their downsides and advantages depending on the location I find myself but I'll choose MTN anytime any day for it's availability and ease to use. It's faster for me at most of the places I've been to. Still, I have other providers as a back up should they mess up as I can't risk being offline.

Sometimes, I feel lucky to have good broadband connection here. Just imagining how difficult it is for you to cope up with such kind of situation.
You should really feel lucky, it's a different story here.
For real! Despite how evil MTN can prove to be sometimes, it’s still the best for me. 9mobile is actually good too but they easily go out of coverage and that’s the worst! 😂
Lol it's why I don't bother about 9mobile at all self.
MTN still remain the best but it depends on location. I've been to a place where glo is the best in that area.
All the networks depend on the location actually.
That's right
