My core values

Everyone has their core values. These are the values that guide how we live and how we interact with people.

I have my core values and I'm happy to share them.

Respect
Respect is a value I hold dear. I am someone that gives people the respect they deserve. I believe respect is one of the ways to leave a lasting, good first impression. I respect everyone, including those older and younger than me.

Respect ensures a good, healthy relationship with people. When two friends have mutual respect for each other, there will barely be any misunderstanding or grudges. Respect softens the heart and reduces friction between people.

No one is going to have an issue with someone who shows them respect. They would in fact get closer. As much as I give respect, I also demand it. Respect goes both ways.

Humility
I also value humility. Humility is something every human should have. Humility opens doors. I can attest to that. I believe there is no disadvantage to being humble.

When you're humble, people remember you when opportunities arise. Humility makes you able to learn, accept mistakes, take correction, and grow.

I try to be humble in every circumstance. It's who I am. This has helped me in many ways. Most people stop being humble once they become successful. Maybe they get a lot of money or occupy a huge position. They become proud and forget their beginning.

On the contrary, humility is even more important when you're successful. This is because there is no peak.
No matter how big someone thinks they are, there's always a higher level to attain. Humility can get them to that level faster.

Honesty
I value honesty. I am an honest person. I have found that it's the best way to live. No one would ever believe or trust a chronically dishonest person. Honesty boosts your credibility and reputation. People take your word when you're honest. They hold on to it.

Honesty makes people trust you and give you chances. As much as I am honest, I also appreciate people being honest with me. If everyone was honest, the world would be a beautiful place.
Honesty is important in relationships, friendships, marriages, and families. It reduces the probability of conflicts arising. More importantly, it increases trust. The more people trust each other, the closer they get. This is more important for couples.
One can't go wrong with being honest. We need more honesty in our world today.

I always try my best to be honest. Instead of telling lies, I prefer not to say anything at all.

All the things you talked about are very important in friendships but it's so sad most friendships we see today lacks honestly which makes it not to last

Honesty not only begets trust, it also gives birth respect. It reveals how real and authentic one is, not just to others, but to themselves. Sometimes, I prefer honesty to truth. It's better when someone is transparent about what they truly feel, than when they tell me what they think I want to hear.

I love your path❤️. Thank you for sharing!

Honesty is something a lot of people lack these days, they just want to benefit and if it means lying they don't mind at all.

Indeed honesty is a huge part of respect and when couples start being honest with first themselves and eachother, they are able to resppect eachother better.
