Shooting Doubts.

Talking about shooting stars,. I'm not sure I exactly believe in it. I've only heard about it and seen it in movies, I've seen how it happens in movies when they suddenly see it, everyone just shouts and immediately closes their eyes to make a wish. And some, or let's say all of them do believe that things will definitely turn out for good. Well, to me it sounds somehow. And mind you, I've absolutely nothing against those who believed in it.

Aside from movies, I doubt if I've ever seen a shooting star, or maybe I wasn't paying attention, or the part of the world where I'm from isn't one that takes it seriously, so it's possible that I might have missed it, or seen it without paying attention to it. But judging from what I've seen online and in the movies, especially Korean movies, they make it feel so special like....I don't even know the best word to use.

And like I said earlier, I doubt if I believe in it, and I've nothing against those who do. Still, if I eventually get to see or notice one, I still don't think I will make a wish. The reason is because I feel like it is way more deeper than all of that. There are things that you can only get by working hard, putting effort, or being patient. Also, some things just happen out of what we call "grace." Grace might just find you and refuse to let you go...without you even putting effort into anything. And I will like to repeat that I have nothing against those who believe in it. It's possible that it's working for them, or giving them some level of hope.

In conclusion, it's possible that shooting stars don't even grant wishes, but when it passes by, the kind of things we wish for show the kind of person we are and the kind of person we will become. But then, I would love to imagine. I would love to imagine if a shooting star was to pass by, what would I have wished for, the only wish that came to mind and I'm sure would be what would come to my mind if I did believe in it is that, I want to be so blessed to an extent that I will be a blessing to others. People are going through a lot, and it's high time we all stop being selfish. So, that would be my wish...to be in a position where I can help, support, bless and raise others.
