Money Is A Tool.

There's a song that says, "money can't buy you happiness," and while some hold that belief, others feel money is the solution and answer to everything. Personally, I feel money is good. It is a necessity; if not, life can be frustrating and tiring.

As someone who has had a little bit of experience. Back then when I was sick, all my prayer points were to get better. That was when I realized that no amount of money can buy you good health; no matter how much money you have, you can't swap good health with it. My family spent money; when I say money... I mean it. I also see some who spent way beyond what we spent; some could do anything for the doctors and nurses just so they could be attended to on time and treated specially, even still... Most of them still died. This is not to mock or anything. Nah, I'm just trying to pass a message.

Also, during that time, I know of someone whose family was rich, and about two to three people do stay with him at intervals in the hospital ward. We do hear how those who stay with him (family members o) do call home to request huge amounts of money. Most of which they make use of for themselves. But despite all the money they were seeing on this guy, they later left him. That was when I knew that money can actually pay for hospital bills, buy food, and such, but no amount of money can replace the love of people who stood by you.

Family members were the ones staying with me back then too; I wasn't giving anybody anything; rather, I was even a burden to them; they spent not just money but also their time. Even still, they stood.

Money can make life easier and more comfortable; I agree with that. But money doesn't guarantee joy or give you genuine relationships... It will only attract more fake ones to you.

So to me, money still remains the tool it is meant to be. A very important tool, though. If I suddenly became wealthy today, I would first plan, invest, and put certain things in place, things that will secure my future and that of my family. I know what it feels like to lack, and I know what it feels like to struggle. So, I will definitely do my best to help those in need, especially those having health issues.

I feel genuine happiness comes from knowing your basic needs are met, being able to sleep peacefully, having good health, and being impactful. Money is needed for most or all of those things, but you should also remember that there are some things in life that no amount of money can buy or replace.
