Network Providers-Problem and Solution

Hi friends, welcome to another wonderful week. Hope your weekend is going great because this week #smp-w16 #prompt in this community about network providers is an interesting experience for me after having used all four major networks in #Nigeria. I will be inviting my friends @ozibaby and @omachi213 to participate and share their personal experiences.

Networks in #Nigeria can be really frustrating because of it's poor coverage which can be so severe that one jumps from network to network just to meet up and stay updated. My first ever network provider was MTN and this is because they have a wider coverage in different parts of Nigeria and their data used to be cheaper. They also have very sweet calls package like night deals where you can call and even browse at night for almost free. There's another package from MTN that was very popular, I enjoyed this particular package and wished it didn't have to end, it is the "family and friends" this is the best package for me because I can register numbers I call offen and make calls for just a token.

Unfortunately, things turned out differently with the new price hike in data subscription. Also, most of the juicy packages were ruled out, including the family and friends call package. I had to switch to the next network provider which is Airtel, formerly known as Celtel and Zain.

Airtel is actually cheaper than Mtn when it comes to data, but their major problem is coverage. I noticed that my network usually go off when I go to certain areas which is annoying some times. Regardless, I choose to remain with Airtel because of it's cheap data since I need data for almost everything because without it, my phone is almost useless.

I used Glo network for a short period of time, but the phone was stolen and I didn't retrieve the sim. Right now, I'm enjoying my Airtel network with it's cheap data packages while my Mtn is cheaper with calls.

SOLUTION
Airtel should work more on coverage and a strong network while Mtn should bring back good data deals.
