Life Essence and Purpose

There's no manual to life like a gadget that tells you how to use a particular item. Life is full of uncertainties, and that disrupts our plans and goals for the future because we don't even know if we will be in that future we have been planning.

Death is inevitable. No matter how good and successful a person is, they can't avoid death because it is the end of every man in a literal sense. Some people wonder why they have to do a thing since life is unpredictable. For me, I believe that since you can't predict your future, then live your life to the fullest.

I believe the purpose of life is to serve our creator. We were created by someone who is loving and who wants the best for us because we didn't happen by change. So, I find myself happier worshipping God and following his commandments, which is also for our protection. 80% of the problems we face in life are caused by our own decisions and actions. Following the holy book can spare us some problems and help us make informed decisions through consultation and research.

The remaining 20% are external forces that we have little or no control over. But at least, let's endeavor to put under control the 80% we can, and we will have minimal problems in our lives.

No matter the difficulties we all face in life, we all agree that life is beautiful, especially when we have good friends around us that encourages us and help us appreciate the beauty of nature, food, music, dance and a lot more around us. This keeps me going, regardless of the problems I face, and I wake up each day thankful for my life, family, and friends.

Looking back at the struggles and hardships, all I can say is that it is worth it because if I had remained nonchalant about life, maybe we would still be in the trenches. Even though I haven't gotten to the point I want in life, I believe life is a gradual process, and I will continue to play my 80% part and leave the rest I can't control.

The point of everything is that we get better with time if we take the right steps and make the right decisions. People will come and go, we will lose our loved ones to death, we will have new births and definitely face challenges as long as we live. How we handle those problems, emotions, and setbacks is what makes us different from other persons.

Everyday, regardless of the hardships, I wake up with a smile, sometimes a bit of migraines but happy knowing that I have a purpose in life, to serve God, to be happy, to make good friends, to have my own family and to live a comfortable life.

My motivation comes from the holy book, my husband, my mother, my family, and my friends. I'm blessed to have them.
