Failure Never an Option

Hi friends, welcome to another week of the #smp-w15 #prompt in this community. One thing for sure is that success is powerful, and so is failure. The difference between the two is that the latter can either have a positive effect or a negative one on an individual. For me, I believe that for one to take that bold step to make a big decision or even set up a physical business requires critical thinking, research, and consultation.

Even when all these steps mentioned are strictly followed, success is not guaranteed, but the need to push further and not give up is where resilience comes in. For every successful story, there must be failures, but because most don't share their failure story, many feel they became successful on the first trial.

Now, I had a very hurtful experience where I saw a good business opportunity and decided to venture into it. I thought about it for weeks, made my findings, did research, and even marketing before actually investing. But guess what, I didn't even get my capital out, let alone think about the profit made. I was so devastated because I put in too much for a start, and the business didn't go as I expected.

What helped me to overcome the dilemma was talking to myself and accepting that because I feel the business is good, it doesn't mean that I will have automatic success. I also looked for ways to improve, re-plan, and produce lesser quantity at a time since they are perishable and have a shorter life span.

I also worked on getting clients for pre-order so that I know that I'm producing a particular quantity large or small for a client which would be cleared at once without me having leftovers which would lead to spoilage. Now at my office, they are ones that keep reminding me to supply weekly and they are always looking forward to my product because of the quality I maintained. They are willing to pay a higher price for my quality natural drinks.

If I had given up on my first trial because of the ugly experience, I would have lost out on success totally, and I won't have a story to share today. FAILURE IS NEVER AN OPTION FOR ME!
