RE: The Truth About Sharing Your Pain

You're right that people won't always be able to help you when you have a problem, and that you have to be careful about who you expose yourself to when you're vulnerable. But I don't think appealing to a religious figure works for everyone, because there are many cases of priests and preachers who take advantage of people in their most vulnerable moments to extract money from them.

I also don't think that staying silent will always work, because sometimes in human interaction (with someone you trust, obviously) people can offer solutions to the problems that are overwhelming you that you hadn't considered. I'm not saying it always works, or that it applies to everyone in every context, but when it does work, it takes a huge weight off our shoulders.

I never said to take your case to a prophet, pastor or any other religious leader, I said to the creator Himself through prayer... I am religious but create a distance between myself and the religious leaders because we don't know who is fake or real, I trust in the church instead not those running it cos God is everywhere we are gathered in two or three trying to connect with Him...

Regarding staying silent or sharing, if anyone is going to share, it better be with their family or very close friends, it actually help lift the burden of whatever is weighing them down...
