Magic is not so cool as science

Learning is a nonstop process that starts from the time we come into this world and ends with our death. From everything and every situation, we have something to learn. We learn many things from our family, and later we are sent to school to learn new things that can help us in life and are important for acquiring certain skills. Magic is something many of us want to use, but the reality is we cannot do magic. What if there were a school that could teach us magic and give us a magic wand after graduation? Would I admit to the school, and how would I use the magic?

I am sure you are thinking about Harry Potter and have heard the name of that magic school, right? If I learn magic, I think my daily life could be easier, and most of my tasks could be done automatically just by using magic, especially those related to household work. It would be satisfying to see all the tasks completed in a blink of an eye just by using magic. From this perspective, I think learning magic could be useful because it can help me when I need help, and at the same time, I can use it to help others as well. But do you think it's a good thing to have the ability to learn magic?

At the present world, people are pursuing education because it is the most beneficial thing at the moment, and that's why people are making an effort and trying to take the best advantage of education. The real fact is that people always chase what is beneficial and profitable, and if there were a magic school, people would try to rush to learn magic because magic is something that can accomplish impossible tasks within a single second and can also make anyone rich without making any effort. If there is only one school, then there must be some selection criteria, and the selected people will be capable of learning magic from the school. It sounds like there is no issue with it, but it's not as simple as it seems.

I think there is no guarantee that all the selected students will be honest and have good intentions. There will be some people who will try to misuse the magic for their own advantages, even if it harms others. It's because good always exists alongside evil, and the nature of people cannot be eliminated completely, no matter how much we try. Teaching unwilling people magic means creating chaos in this world. So teaching magic is mostly like a double-edged sword.

After students graduate from the school, they will come out, and I think it will be just a matter of time before those students establish their own schools to teach magic, and with time, almost all people will be able to learn magic. In time, magic will be a normal thing for everyone, and I think that when everyone knows magic, there will be competition between humans like what is happening at present. At the end of the day, we come to the same point. So what's the benefit of learning magic?

I believe that rather than thinking about magic, which is unrealistic, it's better to think about modern science, because modern science is not less than magic. I think if our ancestors could see the facilities of modern science, they would surely think of it as magic, and in the future, there will be many advantages of science that will not be less than magic.
