I have been curious about technology since childhood. Back then, there were no smartphones, internet, or YouTube. Even though there were mobile phones, they were very simple, just for making calls and SMS. But times have changed, technology has changed, and a small object called a memory card once made its way into my life. When I first heard the name of a memory card, I never thought that such a thing could be so important. To store music on a mobile phone, to take pictures, to make videos, you need a memory card for everything. A small card, it looks like a nail, but there is so much inside it. I remember, at that time I was using a very simple Android phone. The space on the phone was very small. So I bought an 8 GB memory card with the money I had saved for a long time. At that time, I thought, Oops! 8 GB! How much can I store? I used to download songs, keep photos taken by friends, poems written by myself, and some useful notes on that small memory card. It was like a personal trunk. Wherever I went, my memories, love, and affection were all with me. But one day, suddenly, the phone showed, SD card not detected. I got scared. Even after many attempts, it didn't work. I realized that the card was damaged. I was no longer as upset as I was then. When the science behind memory cards became like this, I became curious and started to know how this memory card works. How does such a small thing store so much Later, I learned that memory cards do not have any rotating parts. Rather, information is stored in them through electrons. Which is called flash memory. This memory is a technology that can retain information even when there is no power. That is, even if the mobile is turned off, none of your pictures and songs will be deleted.

After that, I bought memory cards several more times. Sometimes 16 GB, sometimes 32 GB. Sometimes I get cheated by buying cheap and getting fake cards. That's when I learned that everything needs a good brand. Now I buy SanDisk or Samsung cards, even if they are a little expensive, I have peace of mind. Once I went on a trip and took a lot of pictures. When I came back, I found that the card had a virus. All the pictures were gone. Then I had tears in my eyes. It was as if the moments of my life were lost. Since then, I have made it a habit to backup important pictures or data on Google Drive or computer. Some of my small tips I am giving some tips from my experience, those who use memory cards. It is better not to invest in fake cards. Use a good card reader. How much memory card is needed today? Cloud storage has come these days, but the importance of memory cards has not diminished. I still use SD cards in my camera when taking pictures. I keep documents, edit videos, everything has a memory card.

Its not just technology, it's a treasure trove of my memories. Sometimes I open an old card and see pictures from a long time ago, some old SMS, even songs recorded by my mother. Then my heart softens. My thoughts about the future are that in the future there will be cards with thousands of GB of space. Maybe then we won't need a separate computer anymore, a memory card will be the entire storage. Who knows, maybe we will keep our entire life's diary on that small card. Memory cards are not just a technology for me. They are a part of my life. Once upon a time, I used to keep songs, pictures, notes, videos on that card. I still keep them. Even if I lose them, I feel pain, but if I save them, I feel joy. This small chip has taught me how technology blends with life. And that is the biggest lesson for me.
