PEOPLE will always Change

this is one fact that I've come to accept and embrace, and that's the fact that people will always Change it's a fact, altho I've not personally experienced it but I've heard hundred and one stories about it the most touching one coming from my Brother.

In this prompt we invite you to tell us, have your friends ever changed towards you after Achieving a certain position or status?

for a while I stare at my brother and i was so shocked to hear this, I'm like for real?, this is not one of those nollywood epic movies?, so a close friend of his who came from the north, just coming to the community starting life afresh, came across my bro and they became friends, my bro housed him for a while till he was able to find his footing, sharing things in common.

then one time a precious stone was discovered in this community he and my bro were among the first set of miners who just started digging to find this precious stone, Long story cut short, this my brother's friend got lucky he discovered the stone in his pit, this discovery changed the guy's story overnight, this guy found a stone worth millions, from a nobody to a millionaire.

meanwhile my bro had given up hope digging since he couldn't find anything, all this while this guy status had changed, he rarely have time or relate with my bro as some one he knew or someone both of them had struggle together at some point, even while my brother tries to like seek for help and assistance, it was all for nothing.....

I couldn't relate as to why someone you once dine with could change, this is someone my brother helped when he had nothing, like whats there why had pride all of a sudden taken over, is it cause of money?, you know what they say money is the root of all evil, well I think that statement is wrong, here's what I think that, Money takes on the character of its owner.

there's something I know that is resident in all human and that is Pride and ego, no body is truly humble for nothing they stay true to what ever it is that they seek after, once gotten can change the whole game, wealth, status, position, power and authority can come with so much affluence and influence , it goes on to determine the character and behavior of the owner, such that two twin brothers or lovers can turn cold bloody ruthless enemies over night it doesn't matter how long they suffered together or things they been through.

so I have come to accept it with all my full chest that people will always Change no matter what, after all the average human is self centered, selfish, proud, except for the very few.

but one thing is certain if you ever did good to anyone be rest assured same measures will come to you some how somewhere and vice-versa.
