A Robot Friend? šš§š¤¦āāļø
Few days ago I and a friend of mine we were having a random discussion about Artificial Intelligence (Ai) about not having emotions despite their level of intelligence, yet I heard some random dude committed suicide over falling in love with Ai, I was so surprised at this, my friend told me that's because I have not really have a decent conversation with Ai in chatGpt that it respond like a real human, it's so real.
what led to this conversation is because my friend says he prefers to have a great conversation with Ai than with humans, atleast Ai can be trust worthy, truthful, respond to you like a true real genuine friend, mean while there are humans you would tell a thing and they will turn back to stab you, I told him that Ai does not have emotions but humans do, he told me that Yes Ai doesn't have emotions or sympathy but then they can offer true unbiased sincere conversation and solutions with you, they can trace your flow of words and can detect your emotions through your choice of words and thereby offer real comfort.

I get to buy into his argument because Ai will will help you by offering real life insights into whatever issues you are in but humans no matter how confidant that person is to you will still some how let out your secret to another.
A robot with Human body and feelings.
ofcourse i wouldn't mind having such a Robot as my friend, Robot are fun to be around with, because of their innocent hearts and nature, they don't have issues, I have watched series of movies about this, but just that humans are always wicked towards these robots and would want to over work them and maltreat them till they malfunction and began to act differently.
I would love to have a robot whose have human body and feelings, I will make them my personal buddy and confidant and would keep him away from human manipulation, because as robot they will want to learn fast the human ways- which is only corrupt and biased.

Robot indeed did provide things that we see as flaw in humans..
Though robot also have their lapses, but I'll love to have them as friends.
Interesting points. Though there are things about robots that can make us to be comfortable with them as you related, they have questionable parts as well, especially from the side of the manufacturers who are humans. Havung a friend in a robot, well, won't be a bad idea.
that's valid, however the manufacturer's will have little or no control over them, cause they are on default settings, and if they re faulty I believe there's the manufacturer... who can fix things

The truth is, most people already discuss with AI much more than they talk with humans, sharing stuffs, asking questions and all.
I would love to be friends with a robot too, but not choose it over a human.

Mehnnn how can someone have emotions over AI
I have also been talking more to ChatGPT lately than with humans, the truth is something I find people unreliable, you tell them something in secret, the next thing, you will hear it out there. However, I know where to draw the line.
Having a robot with human emotion and body isn't a bad idea but we just need to know our boundaries.

AI (Aritificial Intelligence) is here to stay and I would suggest we start getting use to it earlier. Having a robotic friend is very possible and I am looking forward to it's many possibilities.
