Me and The Weather: weather pattern In Nigeria
Nigeria is blessed with one of the best weathers in the world. With the reason being that, the degree of every present weather never exceeds that which the body can't tolerate, even in its extremity. We experience the hot and cold weather at different seasons, some towns and cities experiencing both weather at different degrees, often due to certain factors like ; the availability and absence of trees, the presence or absence of rivers and mountains, and the industrial set-up of such a town. The hot season is often known as the dry season characterized by intense heat and begins from the month of November -April, while the cold period happens during the rainy season characterized by cold and begins from the month of April-November.
No tornadoes in Nigeria, No snows, just harmattan during the dry season that turn a few people looking like a ghost and one favorite thing I love about the harmattan is the cold. I love the cold weather, give me cold weather anytime and I'd take it over the hot weather a million times.
One good thing I love about cold weather is the calm atmosphere. I feel more relaxed under a cold weather than I do in a hot one. Sleeping also feels good and relaxed when the weather is cold than when it's hot, and finally, I wouldn't suffer the stress of wiping off some particles of heat every second and praying for a little air from the window.
I've always wanted to experience the snow, it's fascinating how everything freezes from it and I have this belief I'd cope great without my shirt on in snowy countries, 😂 and if I freeze, it would be a great pleasure to freeze having fun with my favorite weather. Not true! 😀
A few parts of Nigeria like the city of Jos experience cold throughout the year and extreme cold during the raining season and harmattan. Cities like Borno experience extreme hotness during the dry season. No constant weather throughout the states, one state or town experiences more effects of the weather than another but none of these weathers are unbearable, just choosing comfort over discomfort.
I personally, I am someone that did not even like the weather condition like that when it is hot. it always piss me off

Most people don't like hot weather
Cold weathers are always great. Quality sleep is always achieved mostly during cold weather.
Harmattan is a good weather but the only issue is that the cold morning breeze is not always moist and most times, leads to little wound in the nose when breathing.
