It's amazing when we consider and explore the world of animals. Their uniqueness, beauty, diversified attitude and behaviours and a whole lot of the nature of animals that existed and we've come to know or not. When we relate to these beings, we can find out one thing or another that is interesting about them. Thankfully, science, through research and experiments has opened the nature of the diverse animals in the ecosystem.
One astonishing nature or ability that could leave one captivated by these animals is their character when it comes to the work of their senses. Several animals have several sensory perceptions which are very odd to human nature. From the sense of vision, to that of smell, also feeling, hearing and tasting, we can tell there's a distinguishing semblance to what we have as humans.
There is a lot of sensitivity from different animals to discuss. Some known and others that I got to realise from this prompt, such as the catfish's ability to taste food with its whole body. Whereas I can only do that with my tongue. Then that of bees' ability to see past flowers, deep down to their invisible light patterns to detect nectar. I know the elephantโs and bearโs strong and far sense of smell and the eagle has long vision as well. They leave me in great wonder as to how these animals do all that.
The aforementioned are wonderful and something to be astonished at. But these animals aren't close in nature to me say I explore them enough to have tangible information to talk about, except with research. For that which is close to me; dog, I have much that makes me marvel at its best known sensory ability or uniqueness, which is that of smell.
It leaves me no wonder why dogs are used in hunting and for tracking by security forces. Yet, it still leaves one to wonder as to how the animal does that. Except you're wearing a spray; a strong one that leaves me no choice but to be caught by it, or a foul smell, or I've been close to a person that I'm familiar with their scent or something like that, then I can't have such a sharp and accurate sense of smell like dogs.
I wonder what kind of strong olfactory sense they possess, which makes it clearly different from that of us humans. I'm still also amazed by how the eagle's sense of vision from the sky far up to something on the earth's surface or around the water surface. The bat's ability to hear frequencies on range beyond which the human ear can hear is a wonder. How it can detect something of little matter as human hair is amazing.
Well, we're more intelligent animals, with a great sense of smell, feeling, taste, vision and hearing, but we can't deny the high level of sensitivity animals possess in this regard. Of whatever senses, they are a great discovery, and something that leaves me in awe when I try to reason it. Thankfully; once again for science, I can understand why they're like that but that doesn't take away the wonder.
You know why I'm amazingly smiling reading through your post, because I later realized we chose the same animal and cos of its uniqueness of smell. That's why you're my friend now ๐๐
Its just so wonderful how dog has been created with that uniqueness
Well, seems the dog's sense of smell amuses us both. It's something to make one amused by the thought of it. Oh yes, Kenny is my friend ๐๐.
Yeah, so unique. Thank you for stopping by.
Dogs have very good sense of smell, they perceive it from miles away.

Thank you!
I would love to have the eyesight of an eagle. Thanks for sharing
That's a nice one.
Which dog is one of the intelligent animals.
True. It's intelligent.
Everything was created special by God. Thanks for the information on catfish, I didn't know about it's ability to taste food with it's entire body. Isn't God wonderful?...
God is indeed wonderful bro. I'm just finding out some of these things too bro. It's wonderful to know all these. Thank you for stopping by!
This post is beautifully written! I genuinely love how you expanded on the topic, making sure to including facts about different animals, most of which I'm just coming across for the first time. Thank you for that.
I also think that dog's sensitivity outperforms many others and that's why we call it the closest animal to human. I guess this will always be proof that science is amazing!
Thank you for that compliment. I also got to find out about these other animals sensitive ability as a result of this post.
Yes, I think dog has that high sensitivity compared to other animals and we can't deny its closeness to human. Yes, science is so amazing.
Thank you for stopping by Yechee!
Great! It means you actually do some research before writing. I love that. Never stop. You're welcome too.โบ๏ธ
