Model the trait you want in your kids
Good day, amazing people of Hive Blockchain. Welcome back to my blog. It is another edition in the #scifimultiverse community. I am so delighted to participate in this week's prompts selection of offspring's behavioural traits.
When it comes to parenting, no parents will like to have a problem child. They will like to have kids that will make them proud. They will take everything in them to make sure that they bring up a well-disciplined child, a child with a fear of God, honesty and respect. I can’t imagine giving birth to kids that will be a problem to the society. God knows that I can’t stand it.
The country I come from values respect so much; the most important trait my kids must have is respect. My kids must be respectful. I dislike kids who are not respectful. This is one trait that I have, and I would love my kids to have it. I so believe when a child is respectful, he or she will be loved in the society, and it will open doors of opportunity for the child. I have seen someone who was offered scholarships just because of respect. Respect may look small, but it means a lot to me.
As a parent, there are good traits I want my kids to follow. I want to raise up kids who are hard-working and serious. Hard work has really kept me where I am today; I put in my very best. I don’t like depending on someone. I am a lady that works hard to get whatever she desires so much that I believe that with hard work, I can achieve whatever I want. I am not lazy. I see no reason why my kids will be lazy; they must be vibrant. They have to understand that they should not depend on me, their mother, and they should work hard to achieve their goals.
If it is my hand to select the trait I want in my future kids, God knows I will choose the best because I don’t want kids that will give me high blood pressure. I want kids that are kind: kids that show compassion towards others, kids that understand that not discriminating, kids that value and love every kid that comes their way
My kids must have self-confidence: they must believe in themselves and never think less of themselves; they must be ready to face the challenges of life and overcome them. My kids must be smart, intelligent and knowledgeable; even in my absence, they will know when to talk, when to be calm and when to react.
Fear of God I love kids who love the things of God. This is a common trait for my kids; they most follow the way of God.
The most honest thing is that I can’t raise kids that lie the most to be sincere and trustworthy.
When it comes to my kids' phenotype
I will love them to have long hair, brown eyes, dark skin and height.
Come to genotype. I want all my kids to be AA; I don't want any of my kids to suffer due to health challenges.
In conclusion, there is this adage my mom will always tell me: if the mother goat is eating, the offspring is watching it. Whatever trait you want your child to have, you have to practise that character so that your kids will learn from you. Remember, kids learn very fast by watching us. If you want to have a child that society will be proud of, be a better version of yourself.

We just have to practice the good qualities we want our kids to have or maybe teach them at a ln early age. Because we cannot keep living in our imagination, or we will have kids that will be like us. Genes don't lie.
Self confidence is one of the traits I mentioned in my post. It has helped me many times and I believe it’d help my kids navigate life’s challenges.
