I am so delighted to participate in this week's prompt about eating habits. Food is very important to humans. Without food, we will not be able to carry out our daily activities. Food is one of the essential things every human needs. It is very important that we eat to stay healthy; someone who doesn't eat may die of starvation. Food helps to nourish our body and helps us stay strong and healthy.
If there is something I love so much, it is food, more especially a well-cooked and delicious meal. I don’t joke with it. Food is life; it plays a very vital role in our lives.
When it comes to my preference in food, I go for quality food – a meal that is well-prepared, tasty and delicious. This is the reason I prepare my food myself; I am always careful of things I consume. No matter how hungry I may be, I must eat quality food. I set this standard, and it has really helped me to control my weight and the way I eat, and I don’t regret it. 85% of the foods I consume are healthy.
I have a meal schedule I follow every day; no matter how late I am running to work, I most often have my breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal; I can't miss it for anything.
You see, late-night food – I avoid it with everything in me. Any meal after 6pm is not for me; no matter how tempting the meal may look, I will not eat. My eating habit is better than before. Before now, even by 2am, you will see me in the kitchen eating. My mom will always tell me that I am not helping myself, but the result occurs. I have to minimise the way I consume food. I just don’t eat anything food is available. I have a schedule for when I eat, and anything after that schedule is a no-no for me.
Since I started eating healthy and on time, I don’t battle with indigestion anymore. But look at the way our country has kept us; there is hunger everywhere. The majority of the people just want to eat to survive; they don’t care whether it is tasty.
It is very important for us to eat a lot of fruits; it will help us stay healthy and strong, and your skin will be glowing. I was talking with my friends that we are going to do a fruit challenge that is eating fruits for a month with food.
I so much dislike processed food. I love natural food. This is the main reason I try to prepare my food myself; no matter how busy my schedule may be, it is very necessary for us to maintain good eating habits if we really want to stay healthy and strong. I have this ideology: what we consume will determine how healthy we are.
We all need to be healthy; it's not about quantity but the quality of the food we are consuming.

Your ideology is very correct. What we consume will determine how healthy we are and that’s the truth. We need to go for quality when it comes to food. Processed food does much harm to the body than natural food; one cooked by you.

Yes, quality is very important. Like you said, the state of our country has made people to want to eat to survive most importantly, than looking at nutritional benefits. It's good you have some schedules. Late night eating should be really avoided.
