Nigerians experience on taxation

Tax payment has caused trouble and fear in the heart of many Nigerians now. This tax payment has been in existence, like we have been paying taxes before now but the reason why Nigerians reaction to the tax but salary earned people have been the one that can say they have been paying taxes as well as companies and industries,the system they use in paying tax in Nigeria is based on the amount you get as income which is salaries, the higher the income,the higher the tax to be paid.

The fact that some Nigerians are lamenting greatly on this tax issue, some are rejoicing and doesn't have problem with it ,those are companies that are spying way more higher tax than they are supposed to be paying, if you won a company, a firm, you will understand very well what those government officials charge firms and companies ,they Just write any amount they want for them to pay. Those earning little are in so much burdensome including me because just a little reduction goes a long way in our life, the little we earn haven't sort out our bills ,talk more of deducting from it.

The fact that the purpose of this tax is not utilized, we know it's a system to generate revenue for the government so they can do projects like education,good roads , electricity, healthcare and a lot ,that the citizens we enjoy but that has not been the case, we are not enjoying any of these, no good road, no adequate security, it's understandable that the citizens react that way, we don't see value for our money.

So, the issue is not really paying the tax but making us see that our money is out to good ways, being transparent and accountable for the taxes we pay. It will encourage citizens comply since we see it's beneficial to us.
