Many of us already have a bot friend that we share our feelings and inner secrets with, knowing fully well that it has no emotions… and we actually love it that way, as long as it can be a good companion whenever we need answers to questions or insight into things bothering us.
Some people don’t even realize how attached they are to ChatGPT or Gemini based on how quickly they run to these bots whenever they need answers, advice, or someone to talk to…
If you really want to know a person’s deepest thoughts now, don’t check their chats with friends or partners… check their ChatGPT history instead. You will probably find things that truly define them.
The major difference between ChatGPT and a robot is physical presence. A robot would be able to walk, move around, and interact physically, unlike ChatGPT, which only exists digitally.
Honestly, I would love to have that kind of advanced robot someday because aside from helping with questions, it could also assist with chores, errands, and daily activities.

Imagine having a companion you can walk around and gist with freely without barriers… that would actually make sense, especially if the robot is highly advanced.
The problem of robots or AI taking wrong commands is something humans can actually control. Even ChatGPT gives wrong answers sometimes, but as humans, we have intuition and reasoning to help us know what is right from wrong.
That responsibility still falls on us.
A robot companion should never be relied on 100 percent because no technology is perfect. It should simply be there to assist, keep us company, help with tasks, and make life easier, not replace human thinking completely.
At the end of the day, no matter how advanced AI becomes, humans are still meant to be the ones in control.

Robot as friends is a interesting thing that I'll like to try , but then, I understand one can't rely on them totally because of their lack of human feelings and emotions.
