It was the same way the husband died that all the children also died; they were vomiting and defecating at the same time. It was later discovered years later that it was a disease called Cholera, and the woman was not a witch.

In the olden days, the ignorance of our forefathers lead to giving birth to unhealthy children, no test or anything was being done to know those who are compatible and those who are not, people just get married to who they love or want and luckily for some, their genotype matched and they give birth to healthy children while some are not so lucky when AS and SS end up getting married and also end up giving birth to SS.

Science is a gift to the world, it takes away the ignorance and provides answers to some things being seen as mysteries... A lot of women died during childbirth, but now science has figured out a way to reduce such a loss... Pregnant women are now advised to register for Antenal, which would help them towards their journey to motherhood, test them, and take care of any complications that may come their way in the process of giving birth... I focus on the health aspect because it is one of the most important things to humans, Health is wealth and science helps us to figure out a way to make us healthy and live long..

Now let me dive into Technology, Science is what gives birth to technology because without the study of things, there would be no idea to put into action.

I will keep saying we are among the lucky generations as we got to enjoy science and technology. Gone are the days when our forefather needed to trek miles when on a trip to another city, gone are the days of using a cutlass to clear bushes and a hoe to make ridges on the farm. We are now in a civilized world full of the beauty of science and technology, where machines can be used to do our tasks.

Someone who owns a washing machine will never want to use his or her hands to wash clothes again because the machine makes things easier... It can help to wash, rinse, and dry our clothes with just a few button clicks for us rather than spend hours using our hands to wash those clothes, and we won't be able to wash those with hard textures like jeans well unless we use a brush. The WC just saves us the stress.

We can't miss what we never had, but our generation has tasted soft life, all thanks to science and technology that made life easy for us, so a life without them is something I can't imagine, cos where are we going to start from... We can't go back to those days without mobile phones to keep us company, or days without internet that allow us to know what is happening around the world.
