Success Does Not Need an Audience
The least of my worries is the pressure to look successful in front of others. In fact, I pity people who try to look successful in front of others because this world is deep.
Whenever I check TikTok, it is one video of someone celebrating the success of completing his house or buying a car, and to some extent, some people have even started celebrating doing the foundation of their house on their land.
If only they knew that some of the things you do in secret often yield good results. Out of those people who showcase the foundation they have done, most of them might end up not doing anything on the land again due to financial constraints, while some might even end up selling the land.
This can happen to anyone. If you buy a piece of land and you do not have the money to start the project, you can easily sell it off because no one knows you bought the land anyway. But for those who have already posted it publicly, the pressure becomes greater because they would start thinking about what to tell the people who already know about the land.
Then there is no rest for them because they do not want to be shamed in front of the people who already know about their plans.
I am not pressured to look successful like some people I see because I know that the best way to be safe is to never let people know your worth.
Nowadays, we hear stories of people getting robbed. The economy is hard, and people are getting their hands dirty, but some of these robberies can be caused by the victims themselves because of their actions and words in public, which can lead armed men to their homes.
My goal is not to look more successful than I am. My goal is to be very successful while keeping my success private enough that people will never really know how successful I am.

Tienes una postura interesante, promocionar tú exito en las redes sociales, si puede ser un riesgo de seguridad, porque puedes atraer delincuentes. Pero también esta el problema contrario, si quieres dar a conocer un negocio, un proyecto, una idea, y necesita financiación, es necesario que lo promociones y eso implica vender una imagen de éxito. Así que yo creo que la imagen de éxito puede servirte crecer profesionalmente (siempre que no publiques datos personas que te comprometan), o puede volverte victima delincuentes como bien señalas si lo haces con el fin de presumir tu riqueza y nada más.

I think it's the choice of each person. If it's about me, I would hide things from others, and I love ot keep secrets as much as possible, and I doubt everyone, and there are many people who just want to take advantage of us.

I have always thought about things like this. Social pressure and people pleasing. When you showcase your success in the early stages, you are bound to not finish it (in most cases). Some people do end up getting it right even after telling many people, but that's rare. I agree with what you've said.
Yea, some people don't see the much effect but we have many people who attest to the negativity of sharing a success story that is still in progress

yeah sometimes celebrating in silence while nobody else knows is satisfying although it sux when you actually achieve something that needs an audience or when you build something and you are an introvert, that sux, anyways some heroes stay in the shadows 😅
