As long as we are alive, we will always want something. We live in a world full of beautiful things, there is always something to crave.
One person wants to be rich, another prays for a child, someone is searching for a job, while someone else just wants a loving partner. Our desires are endless,but we prioritize them based on the stage we are in.
There was a time I cared more about being loved than having money. Back in my teenage years, I fell in love with my best friend… but it was the kind of love that never even started. She only saw me as a friend.
I was so deep in it that if you had asked me then to choose between her and a well-paying job, I would have chosen her without thinking twice.
That was how much I desired to be loved by her back then.
There was also a time I dreamed of becoming a doctor… but life had other plans. That dream faded, and reality humbled me. I got to a point where I stopped chasing what I wanted and started accepting whatever came my way.

Eventually, I found my way into the online world and began to earn some decent money. And just like that, my desires shifted again…
From love… to survival… to stability.
The person who can afford a bicycle wants more. The one who owns a nice car starts dreaming of a jet. Someone with a beautiful house begins to desire a mansion.
Our wants are insatiable… so are our desires. The moment we achieve one thing, we begin to crave something better.
Today, I can say I have achieved part of my desires, I have a beautiful family.
But the “comfortable life” I once dreamed of? I am still working towards it. Still hustling. Still figuring it out.
And maybe that is life…
We don’t stop desiring, we just keep evolving.
