A Time Lost Can't Be Regained

Life has its own way of either dealing with us or treating us, depending on what phase we relate with it.
Some flow with life along with the waves with some of us tries our best to be one step ahead so we can beat the time and achieve all we set and laid down as our plans.

This makes me remember a time on @sam.hangout when we discussed on the topic CHILDHOOD RHYMES and everyone started remembering those wonderful memories. Unfortunately, we can't go back to that stage but we could only hold unto the little memories we were able to enjoy back then before teenage years came in and we started biting more than we can chew through our big aims and goals.

It's not that our dreams and goals back then weren't really realistic or valued for destiny and our efforts to fulfil but at times, life plays it's WHOTS card on us and unless luck sets in with our trials, those goals may seem like a hard nut to break.
In the process of trying hard to achieve these goals, some of us may lose the relationships we have built with people because we are focused on achieving what we want. We don't want to be distracted so we lose those precious times that was supposed to be spent with our loved ones and probably when we lose the person, our memory sets back to work in realizing how much opportunities we had to have spent with such person but we couldn't.

I was speaking with a friend this morning and he said he was noticing the symptoms of ulcer already all because he was bent on making it in his career line no matter the physical efforts it was gonna take from him but the question is that, is it really worth it when our health is at stake? What if the goal ends up been achievable and then we start nursing health issues and just like a popular saying that "we don't value what we have until we lose it", which shouldn't always be the case for us.

I'll just say that, in as much as we have a deadlock of plans in our heads, with brainstorming sessions of how to go about it or probably we're even in the execution phase, we should still create time for ourselves. Make our happiness a priority instead of been intimidated by the goals we are working on. Let the inner you realize that he or she isn't a robot and that there are people in your life waiting to enjoy life with you.
Planned vacations by families or friends should not be canceled or be isolated from and the likes.
Remember that old saying:

All work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy.

At the end of the day, those times would end up becoming a past just like an event you went to but you couldn't take a picture or dance when you felt like.
Whatever we failed to do therein comes back to hunt us like we punished the life we were supposed to live then.

I'll be dropping my 🖊️ here on the Scifi Multiverse Prompt
