CENT Sustainability for the Tip Bot

I thought I'd do a quick post on the sustainability of the CENT distributions in terms of the tip bot. I do talk a lot about HP sustainability but not too much in terms of CENT token itself.

First, I do want to state that we currently have enough CENT for about 2 years based on current distribution rate. Slightly over half of that is liquid and some is staked to earn a little bit from curation on that account.

I did not base the CENT distribution on the CENT price, but it is based on these account's ability to generate CENT from the CENT Lps as well as post rewards and some curation.

As of right now the GLITTER account is earning over half the amount of CENT that is distributed from the tip bot. This account makes up the difference. In fact this account alone, including author rewards is generating enough on it's own to cover the tip bot distributions of CENT. Between these two accounts that is more than what the distribution rate is even if more folks start using the tip bot.

I am also compounding. Right now it's a couple of times a week. I am putting those CENT to work in the pools and growing the stake in those regularly. I am also staking some CENT and delegating it to centtoken for the weekly swap.hbd rewards.

I estimate by the end of the year the GLITTER account will be generating more than enough CENT on it's own to cover distributions.

My main account can also be a back up and it is already earning more in CENT daily on average to cover it as well.

The CENT price has gone up since adding it to the tip bot. Obviously, I have no control over that but it is creating more value for those who use the tip bot.

I thought I would clarify this as I don't always mention this when talking about sustainability.
