My question today is, does Black Lives Really Matter, and why are black people continuously racially abused and killed in the UK?

The Black Lives Matter has been a campaign launched by the Black communities across the world to help fight against racial discrimination in the UK, America's and other white dominated countries of Europe.

Most black people across the UK are afraid of their lives due to the incessant killing of black people and high level of discrimination netted to them in the UK. It's very clear that most white people see the blacks in their society as children of slaves, but remember that not everyone in the UK and America's are slaves, most came into the UK as migrants.

At the heat of the burial ceremony of Queen Elizabeth II, another black man has been killed by a Police officers who shot him from his windscreen. Chris Kaba is a well known Black rapper in London and was chased and killed after he was wrongly accused of driving a car with weapons.

The police killing of a Black man – 24-year-old father and aspiring rapper Chris Kaba – has reignited a national conversation about racism within the British police force and stirred fears among the country’s Black communities.
On September 5, at about 10pm, Kaba was fatally shot by police after a car chase in Streatham Hill, a south London district.Source

It's reported that Kaba's death has caused serious protest in London by the Black communities who are afraid of their lives asking who's next after Kaba. Killing a black man according to the members of the black communities is now a regular occurrence across the UK and if this act is mostly carried out by the Police (who are meant to protect the lives of UK citizens, whether White or black) are now the one's breaking the law and killing innocent Black people in the UK. Who'll the black man run to for help since it's no longer safe to report to the White dominated Police Force.

That's a question that needs answer by the unfriendly white dominated population in the UK.

The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) said no gun was found in the car or the surrounding area and that the car, flagged by an automated system as carrying a weapon, was not owned by Kaba.Source

With the evidence that Kaba's car had no firearms, is a clear indication that this is a planned work against the black communities in the UK.

Come to think of it, what does the white Police officers gain in killing black people in the UK. This is very pertinent that they don't value the lives created by God.

After the death of George Floyd in 2020, who was equally killed by a Police officer, many black people have been vulnerable in the UK and this September Chris Kaba is the victim.

Retaliation isn't an option in the quest of protecting the black communities, but without anyone doing anything about these incessant killings, many will want to defend themselves from being killed by the white majority and remember that in retaliating, many innocent white people will become victims, so the high time the UK government does something to savage the situation, the better for the entire citizenry of UK.

Kaba’s family said in a statement released to Inquest, a charity that focuses on state-related deaths: “We are devastated; we need answers and we need accountability. We are worried that if Chris had not been Black, he would have been arrested on Monday evening and not had his life cut short.”Source

Kaba's family only received the news of his death 11 hours after he died isn't good at all and they demands answers from the authorities as well as from the police force.

The black communities says that the police and the criminal justice system in the UK are guilty of institutional racism and needs honest people to help uphold the law in order to help black people within the UK.

Every black person in the UK demands justice for Chris Kaba and it should be noted that every live matters whether White or black and should be protected as enshrined in the UK's constitution.

Thanks!
