Today it might be A and tomorrow may be the turn of B. Please put this in your mind the insecurity isn't paramount in Northern Nigeria alone, it's also in a high rate in the South.

In fact, the Southern part of Nigeria, the activities of kidnappers and pirates are very prevalent. So this means that the entire Nigeria isn't safe at this moment. Probably there are several factors that's responsible for these activities, which may include poverty, unemployment, inequality amongst other things. All these factors aren't an option to support crime in the Nigerian society.

In 2011, we saw the mass abduction of the Chibok school girls in Northeast Nigeria. There have been several mass abduction of people in the country since that period to now.

There's no where to hide both for the rich and the poor in Nigeria. Everyone is at the same risk of being a victim of kidnapping in Nigeria.

Akwa Ibom State Nigeria, is one of the most peaceful state in Nigeria based on happenings around the state. I'm not saying there are no criminal activities going on within the state but base on the number of crime incidents compared with other states in Nigeria, Akwa Ibom is unique in terms of peaceful coexistence. This fact is true because that's where I reside, although I'm not from there but it's safe at the moment to live in.

On April 20, a renowned preacher was kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Mkpat Enin Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.

Okoriko, who is the Founder and President of Solid Rock Kingdom Church, was reportedly kidnapped on Tuesday night at his church premises in Ibekwe Akpan Nya in Mkpat Enin local government area.
According to the source, the gunmen opened fire indiscriminately to scare away people and dragged the octogenarian preacher into the nearby bushSource

The case has been reported to the State Police Command Headquarters and has been confirmed by the state's Police (PRO) Odiko Macdon. The Police PRO said that the case is under investigation and swift action will be taken to rescue the abducted preacher.
