Gold Mining in Zamfara and other minerals in Borno Maiduguri

Zamfara is now known as the home of gold in Nigeria, from the time gold was discovered in Zamfara, it has been air that chaos is emanating in Zamfara state, what is happening is that, the people of Zamfara, which is the precisely state where the gold are discovered are not happy with the government policy, because the government are putting a clause that no individual should tap the gold for the time being.

However, some people who have been making a living through mining this gold, in the early days when it was not so alarming to attract the interest of the government, are not happy with the government's policy, which is why a lot of conflicts are now occurring in Zamfara state in Nigeria.

A police man whom I visited, at his residence in four days later, let me know that so many crises are starting in Zamfara and Borno, as most of his colleagues are being deployed in the two states, as he is speaking now most of them are going for peacekeeping, he make it known to me, that he is the one in charge of making the allocation of those who are going for peacekeeping in the two states, so he is aware of what is happening in the country.

This makes me realise that Nigeria is really the giant of Africa, truly blessed with a lot of natural and mineral resources. Borno at the moment is in chaos too, I wonder why all this chaos, I pray for one love for all parts of the country.

For the facts some minerals are also being discovered in Borno, that causes conflict over there too, someone told me that is how it normally goes down, when things come in one environment, in the early times, it would bring chaos then as time goes on, people would be able to live with the new outbreak.

This is because the people think that they could have solved all their problems with that gift of nature given in their lands, but the truth remains that, when something like natural resources break out in an environment, the government will interfere and make rules governing those things.

Maybe in the early days, the authority may overlook it, but when it keeps growing, the resources became the government's concerned, so to share it equitably, in a way that would benefit other people who don't live on that land, to show love, belongings, as they are still members of the country.
