EU Turns To Israel For Gas Supplies After Russia "Blackmails" - How long can Israel supply EU nations with gas?

Prior to the Russia's military invasion of Ukraine, it has the major distributor's of natural gas to Western Europe and the Americas. The invasion have spoiled most of the Multilateral contracts signed between the EU countries and Russia.

The dwindling of economic relations between Russia and other EU countries started after the sanctions placed on Russia for invading Ukraine.

Russia inturn started cutting off gas supply to those EU countries that supported Ukraine, bringing severe hardships to those nations who depends on natural gas supply for their homes and industries.

To solve this challenge, an alternative source of energy supply is needed to help the affected EU countries to step up economically. It should be noted that the EU have deviced a means to solve the ongoing demand for natural gas amongst it's members.

The European Union wants to strengthen its energy cooperation with Israel in light of Russia's use of gas supplies to "blackmail" its members over the Ukraine conflict, European Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen said Tuesday.
"The Kremlin has used our dependency on Russian fossil fuels to blackmail us," she said in a speech at the Ben Gurion University in the southern Israeli city of Beersheba.Source

Turning to Israel for alternative source of energy is very important, because it'll reduce the monopoly of natural gas supply from the hands of Russia. It should be noted that, Russia since the inception of the war in Ukraine have halted gas supply to Poland, Finland, Sweden, Denmark and the Netherlands, due to their support for Ukraine in the ongoing war.

These countries suffering from their decisions to support the party they want to in the war is uncalled for and Russia cutting off gas supply means an extension of war to those countries.

In talks with Energy Minister Karine Elharrar on Monday, von der Leyen reiterated "the EU need for Israeli gas," the minister's spokesperson said.
The spokesperson said there had been talks since March on establishing the legal framework to enable more Israeli gas exports to Europe via Egypt.Source

It's crystal clear that the entire EU needs Israel's gas supply to destroy the Russian monopoly of natural gas supply in Europe. Establishing a legal framework will enable the smooth running and distribution of gas across Europe.

I'll conclude by saying, does Israel have enough gas that'll sustain the entire Europe or should the European Union look for other alternative source to complement that of Israel.
Also, the EU shouldn't raise the bars for Israel to attain the monopoly of natural gas supply, other alternative source should be incorporated into the deal by the EU or else face the same economic challenges should Israel attack and annex another European country in the future.
