[Movie] Alpha Review.

After laying all day I got to watch Alpha I had downloaded it thinking it was a Hollywood movie but surprisingly it wasn't it ended up being an Indian movie, not bad because the trailer I had seen almost had me thinking otherwise.

From the beginning to the end I liked everything but I was expecting Hrithik Roshan to have scenes but somehow he didn't I still remember how he played Krrish in that superhuman movie so seeing him show up here in a much smaller role had me wanting more honestly his cameo felt like a treat that ended too quickly like the movie gave me a taste and then snatched it away before I could really enjoy it.

Now let me talk about the story because there is a lot going on here and this is the part that really got me emotionally Alia Bhatt plays Sita, a highly trained assassin who was raised in complete isolation turned into a super soldier by a rogue commander who had no business raising a child in the first place As the story unfolds Sita starts uncovering the truth about her past and it turns out she was taken from her real family as a baby her whole childhood was stolen from her molded instead into weapons training and missions with no idea who she really was or where she came from.

That discovery is what pushes the story forward Sita finds out she has a sister, played by Sharvari someone she never knew existed and the two of them team up to take down the man who tore their family apart in the first place Watching two sisters separated as babies and raised in completely different realities come back together to fight for the truth that hit different for me It added this emotional core underneath all the spy action and explosions something that made me actually care about the mission instead of just watching action for the sake of action.

Anil Kapoor plays Colonel Vikrant Kaul, the head of the intelligence operation. He brought this steady commanding energy every time he was on screen giving the plot some grounding whenever things got chaotic.

The action itself I will be honest was entertaining, you really do have to watch it without expecting realism. I stopped questioning logic about through and just let myself enjoy the ride the fight scenes, the tension, the big dramatic reveals.

What I loved more was Alia Bhatt and Sharvaris on-screen chemistry as sisters reconnecting after decades as it was very refreshing to see two women stand tall in a movie like this thats usually all about men Bobby Deol being the villain added an edge to every scene in which he played and the films calculated menace was palpable.

Now back to Hrithik Roshan he played Kabir I really cannot let this go his character felt underused given how history and weight that character carries from the other movies in this universe I expected his appearance to have more substance more screen time, something beyond what felt like a quick cameo moment It left me wanting a whole separate storyline just for him.

By the end I was not disappointed though the movie wrapped up its conflict in a way that felt satisfying enough if you enjoy spy thrillers with strong female leads and do not mind suspending logic for the sake of entertainment it is not a perfect film but it kept me engaged from beginning to end and honestly, after laying around all day doing nothing it was exactly the kind of movie I needed.
