[Movie] "Just One More Kiss" A Romantic Ghost Story: Review

Crazy, unreal, impossible! were my silent thoughts as I watched this movie. I had mixed feelings when I read the plot after downloading the movie. I mean, I can't delete what I've spent time and data to download so I decided to see it anyways even though I didn't like the plot I read.

Well, guess what! I enjoyed the movie and that means it went beyond my expectations. Even though it was crazy, unreal and impossible, it was not what I had expected and I totally loved how it played out while giving tension and making me give wrong predictions of what will happen next.

"Just One More Kiss" is a romance movie released in the year 2019 starring Patrick Zeller as Max O'Connell and Faleena Hopkins as Abigail Lyons, the couple of the story, a ghost love story. I think the last time I saw a ghost story was a few years ago and it was quite horrific to an extent.

So deciding to see this movie and the supposed ghost story, I wasn't really ready for what was coming and indeed, I wasn't but in a good way. The story is about a couple that have been together for ten years still looks so happy and loving with each other right from the first scene.

On a night when the couple is gathered with their families and friends, one of their friends got drunk and started acting out of character so Max, the husband decided to take him home and return. Well, they had an accident that took the life of Max and the friend have to live with the guilt that got Max killed because of his behaviour.

Out of hurt and denial, Abigail moves to the Cabin Max always goes to that she never really liked going to. She decided to live there to wait for death because she couldn't imagine living life without her husband, Max. In her first day, she meets Max unbelievably, as a ghost. She could see him as a ghost but this time, they can't touch.

The two gets back to their lives as a couple not minding that they can't touch each other, they continued and Abigail gets her laugh back. The times where she gets hurt, almost fell off a cliff reminded them their predicament as Max can not save his wife because he can't touch anything.

The story got deeper by every scene from there but interesting. I especially love the chemistry of the couple even when they couldn't touch each other, one scene is playing in my head while writing this sentence right now lol. Although, the ending of the story was quite unclear to me.

In the physical, Abigail gets a happy ending but in the ghost realm, the story gets faded or maybe I didn't attention enough to understand what they meant by that ending. Overall, I still love the story, the jokes, the lessons taught and the chemistry.
