[Movie] Heartfelt Story In "Me Before You" Review

I'm surprised to see that this movie was released in such a long time, considering how I still remember my experience seeing it after a long time because of the story it tells and the lessons shared. The movie was recommended to me long ago because I had seen a movie of the male lead.

Another reason I decided to see the movie was the plot I read, finding out that it's a romantic story. I'm still a lover for good love stories because I am learning about love and appreciate the power of real love from God and hoping to experience it from the one I'll spend a lifetime with. That's by the way, I liked this movie's plot.

"Me Before You" was released in 2016 in the genre of epic and tragic romance starring Emilia Clarke as Lou Clark and Sam Claflin as Will Traynor. Lou Clark, a cheerful and seem to know everything about herself meets Will who have lost the will to live after a road accident took his freedom to do things by himself. As a caregiver with a weird sense of fashion, Clark slowly crashes into Will's world, changing each other.

I love the accent of Emilia, I was totally into how they both conversed especially after they understood that they loved each other. But I didn't like that their love seemed to be too unlikely, which is like actually everything love should be about. Still it was totally worth my time on it.

While I may have decided to see the movie because I wanted to see some good romance as the plot promises, the movie opened my eyes to a love that can be true and still not work out for a happy ending or go on for a lifetime. I honestly couldn't stop hoping through out the story that the male lead would make it through somehow.

It's a story that delivers in magical on-screen chemistry and beautiful performances, it was so good that it almost moved me to tears at some point. It's not the type you'd love the ending but it's an end of a story that makes sense to the story that had been told. And then, there is the lesson learned from being a light to a darkness.

I would recommend the movie if you're yet to see it but be ready to feel a lot of emotions just after the light side of the story, when the female lead was playful and cheerful to an angry crippled man. Let me know what you think about it.
