[TV] "When Life Gives You Tangerines", {review}, It's a masterpiece.

Do you think most of the Kdramas are overrated? It’s my personal belief that most of them are overrated. So even though a kdrama has high ratings I don’t expect too much from the drama, but I must admit that few dramas are not like that. "When Life Gives You Tangerines" belong from that belong from the masterpiece type category. Honestly, I never imagined that I would praise a Kdrama and write about it here. So, it means that this drama is something that is different from the normal one.

"When Life Gives You Tangerines " is a drama that has 16 episodes and each episode is approximately 1 hour. The drama didn’t focus on only few characters like other dramas. This drama covered the story of 3 generations as well as the thoughts of 3 generations. This drama represents that life is not perfect and in life struggle is inevitable. Some days are like spring, and some days are like winter means happiness and struggle co-exist. It also shows that even if in the struggling time humans have their own ways to find happiness from ordinary things as long as they have the mindset.

In this drama you can also see a silent obedient son can take stand when the same person plays the role of husband and can dare to take risks for the family without hesitation. It also shows as parents they sacrifice their dreams for the children’s dream and find happiness while seeing their child doing better in real life. Sometimes parents do shallow their pride also for the sake of their child.

In real life sometimes parents fail to show equality between children even if both are equal in their eyes and it’s also can be seen here. While children grow up sometimes, they feel burden for the expectation of parents and feel guilty also because they are the reason for what their parents dream remained unaccomplished.

In the drama it showed how parents can raise children and protect them even if they are not from the rich category. The most pathetic scene of the drama is how life can’t be stopped even losing a child at an early age. The parents were forced to come back to the usual life because they have other children alive and they couldn’t mourn for long time. Life goes on and that’s the reality.

Life is uncertain and unpredictable. Nobody knows what’s waiting for the future but that’s how life is. Sometimes we lose some people, and sometimes new people come into our life. Doesn’t matter if you are young or old, everyone has their own difficulties. This drama is the representation of life and the representation was superb.

I would love to give it 100 ratings for the story and 98 for the acting. So, I chose to give rating 99 out of hundreds. I am saying that you won’t feel bored while watching the drama and you can watch it slowly by taking your time and I guarantee that you won’t regret it. A stingy person giving 99 rating means the drama belongs from a masterpiece. I am impressed seeing the drama.
